Under Section 92 of the Resource Management Act (1991), Environment Canterbury can formally request that an applicant provides further information relating to an application for resource consent.

Environment Canterbury has formally requested further information from Central Plains Water Trust on 5 occasions. The latest request for further information was sent on 2 November 2007. The subsequent response from Central Plains Water Trust was received on 23 November 2007.
