It is likely that the payment on your bank statement may relate to a top up on your metro card.
Loading cash onto your metro card
Cards can be topped up in multiples of $10 as you board the bus (cash only) or at Metroinfo at the city Bus Exchange (cash or EFTPOS). If you use EFTPOS or a Credit card to make this payment it will appear on your bank statement as a payment to Environment Canterbury
